Long review short: They were wonderful! We had a master bath project as well as a full kitchen renovation. For both they were close to time estimates, although to be fair, we added some features to the project along the way. This also impacted the price, as we added things after the original estimate. If this hadn’t occurred it likely would have been close to the original estimate of time and cost. They were incredibly easy to work with, very easy to contact, Keith was on the job very often checking in on everything. He is far more personable than any other contractor we have worked with. As with all big projects, there were some unexpected issues along the way, but Keith always helped us navigate these situations impressively. The projects were very intense, including complete gutting of these areas, moving plumbing, installing propane, and installing new hvac. We even spent a week or so out of the house while the floors were being refinished but throughout that time, there was flawless communication and reassurance. Without hesitation we would hire G&S in the future.

Keith had done some work finishing my basement in the past - which was both creative and quality work in terms of imaging the space - and I called him again to replace some damaged floorboards - he responded to my call immediately and was able to get the job done that same week, with a very sleek professional job.

A short while ago, needing a variety of "fix ups" done around the house, I used a web-site to contact potential contractors. Within a very short time, Keith Blair from Grain & Steel Contracting contacted me and advised he would phone me to ascertain just what had to be done. The very next day, Mr. Blair did call, and advised he would get to our job shortly. True to his word, three days later Mr. Blair advised that the would be here that afternoon. He on time, and thus started what was an exceptional experience. After asking a few additional questions, Mr. Blair got right to work and expeditiously finished all that had to be done. Keith and his team of employees did an amazing job with a project that we had been contemplating for a while. He meet with us quickly and drew up an estimate by that same evening. His pricing was more than reasonable and once we scheduled to have the project started he and his crew came on time and worked diligently and with flawless execution. Our expectations were surpassed and the finished work was perfection. I am sure we will be using him again for any upcoming projects or repairs we may need in the future. His attention to detail and ability to make our vision become a reality was impeccable. Not to mention the fact that after completed, there was zero trace that anyone had been working on our property at all!
